Green Table Initiative
Organization Overview
Green Table Initiative is a 501c3 nonprofit organization arm of Montapata Farms created to advance our mission of sustainable agriculture, food justice and community education. Green Table Initiative strives to inspire, educate and empower people to start growing food.
Our goal is to replace mass production with production of the masses. We believe that change can happen in our own backyard and want for everyone to start growing food whether it is on the patio, windowsill or community garden.
Our vision is a resilient, healthy community of people interconnected with nature, building a sustainable and equitable future for all.
Visit our Homesteader's Hub for various events and workshops where makers, growers, fixers and dreamers come together to share knowledge and ideas on all things growing food, creating healthy meals, making medicine and tinctures, building community and becoming a good steward of the land!
